Overview

Mariano’s Hacienda Ranch in Arlington, Texas, stands out as a polished yet warmly inviting Mexican dining experience. Nestled at 2614 Majesty Drive, this restaurant blends home-style authenticity with a subtle upscale vibe that captures both locals and visitors. The atmosphere carries a nostalgic charm—rustic yet refined—featuring a cozy interior and a welcoming patio, perfect for cooler Texas evenings.

The menu highlights are a celebration of classic Mexican flavors with crafted craftsmanship. Signature dishes like the Camarones Carlos & Charlie’s deliver perfectly grilled shrimp wrapped in bacon, showcasing a bold fusion of smoky and savory notes. The Pork Tamale alongside the Beef Enchilada smothered in fresh tomatillo sauce provides a comforting taste of traditional Mexican fare, deeply rooted in rich, vibrant ingredients.

Sharing plates such as the Fajita Nachos, generously topped with mesquite-grilled chicken or steak and paired with guacamole and jalapeño relish, make for great communal starters. The Table Side Guacamole elevates the experience, freshly prepared right at your table and served with thick, hand-cut chips—an engaging ritual that enlivens the meal. For those who enjoy a bit of spice, the Texas Torpedoes—jalapeños stuffed with Monterey Jack or a spicy chicken filling and coated in a crisp, sweet-and-salty batter—offer a punch of flavor and texture.

Soup and salad options like Mom’s Chicken Tortilla Soup are standout comfort dishes, combining spicy pulled chicken, creamy avocado, and aromatic cilantro with a playful crunch of tortilla strips. This balance of textures and flavors is a hallmark of Mariano’s thoughtful menu design.

Beyond the food, Mariano’s Hacienda Ranch delivers a well-rounded dining experience. The service is consistently friendly and attentive, ensuring a smooth visit whether you're sitting indoors amid the charming décor or enjoying the lively patio space. Cocktails, particularly their frozen lime margaritas made from a special machine, garner frequent praise for their authentic, refreshing quality—a perfect complement to the bold flavors of the menu.

While parking can get busy during peak times, it remains accessible, and the restaurant welcomes families despite its placement in a neighborhood with a colorful nightlife nearby. The mix of traditional appeal and contemporary touches makes Mariano’s an excellent destination for casual dinners, game day meals, or gathering with friends after work. Happy hour specials add an extra dimension, particularly the cocktail swirls served midweek, catering well to a diverse clientele.

In summary, Mariano’s Hacienda Ranch offers a genuine Mexican cuisine experience marked by hearty dishes, thoughtful preparation, and a warm ambiance. Its combination of flavor-packed meals, approachable yet polished surroundings, and attentive hospitality positions it as a memorable spot in Arlington’s dining scene—worthy of return visits.

I took one of my company's executives here. We had a great time and enjoyed some delicious food. I took the writer's recommendation and ordered the Chicken Verde and it did not disappoint! I will definitely be back soon

From the outside, the restaurant looks homey and upscale, and the inside continues with that assumption. A gorgeous, authentic looking interior. Staff are friendly and attentive, and were more than happy to provide me with a takeaway container and plastic cutlery for me to take food back to my hotel. The food itself is authentic and good, not, “knock your socks off”, but certainly acceptable for this restaurant. I will certainly come back and tell friends and family about this place.

This place is a 5 star all across. Came here for the first time, ha been wanting to come but the location is not the most convenient. Regardless, no regrets. I came on a Friday night, and felt welcomed. They were busy and vibing Had to sit at their patio because the weather here in Texas is finally cooling off. Their chips and salsa were delicious … they do offer an option for a spicier salsa that’s $3.00 was not happy about that but couldn’t leave without trying it. It was okay., I did love the chunky es of it and the smoky flavor but it definitely needed some me garlic and salt in my opinion. I ended up taking it home and adding those two ingredients and perfection I had one of the mixed plates with an Enchilada, a crispy taco , rice and beans and their frozen swirl. I really enjoyed my time there, my server was amazing and answered all my questions. They do have 4-6 Happy Hour and special price drinks on Wednesday and Thursday for their swirl Parking was crowded but accessible and it is family friendly despite of the shady area it’s located at since there is a strip club across from it. I definitely recommend this restaurant and will be back myself.

First time visit heading to a Dallas Cowboys game. Parking was easy, located this place based on Google reviews. The place seems somewhat busy at 2:00 p.m. on a Saturday, but service was quick and friendly. Drink order and chips and salsa or served promptly. Had the brisket tacos with dipping juice and the loaded queso and everything was delicious. Mariano's is famous for inviting the frozen margarita machine and the margarita was on point. Atmosphere and decor was kind of old style restaurant which I actually enjoyed a lot. Will definitely be back here when in Arlington Texas again.
